Organised by Career Directors International (CDI), the TORIs are the benchmark of excellence in resume writing. Think of them as the industry’s Oscars—fiercely competitive, highly coveted and celebrated worldwide.
This year’s competition showcased an inspiring array of talent and creativity. Every nominee brought something special to the table, reflecting the diverse ways resume writers are making a difference in the lives of job seekers.
Insights from the 2024 Awards
CDI President Laura DeCarlo shared some behind-the-scenes insights into this year’s judging process. It was exhilarating, competitive, and at times nail-biting! What stood out? The incredible diversity of perspectives among the judges. Some resumes that didn’t officially win were still a favourite for multiple judges—a reminder of just how close the competition was.
To my fellow nominees: If you were in the running, you’re already a winner. Your work has been recognised at the highest level, and that’s something to celebrate.
